Celebrating WOMEN today!! Practically all I draw . . . I love iconic women, monolithic, matriarchal, majestic . . . and other mmmmm words :-) These pieces are 7x10 on paper - I added some stiff papers and a lot of marker doodling.

Happy International Women's Day! Some collages I've done in my Art Journal, featuring Women in Art - my favorites here are the Yoruba Female Head, Mrs. Matisse, Les Demoiselles D'Avignon, and the spare Greek cross-shaped stone sculpture of a femme figure. Of course, I like all of 'em. Oh, and the Mesopotamian stuff, too :-)
