Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Teresa started comedy writing when she was a teenager, performing sketches at church for comic relief between sermons and music. Because, when you talk about hell THAT much, you need some comic relief. She has been an artist/writer since birth, pretty much, and most of her days are spent drawing, writing, and thinking funny things. An Art major in college, she freelanced doing storyboards for music videos (ZZ Top, yay-iss) and worked on an awesome, cult-following zombie movie, drew comics and painted many colorful things. Mere minutes later, working as an artist at Hallmark Cards, she went to an open mic night at a local comedy club in Kansas City . . . which changed her life. In a good way.
