TRL has been writing humor and performing comedy since she was a teenager in Memphis, and has been drawing pretty much since birth! She has an edgy, original style and a friendly stage presence which appeals to people of all backgrounds.
Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, TRL moved to Kansas City to work as an artist and writer for Hallmark Cards. After trying out standup at local comedy clubs, she made the tough decision to leave Hallmark and hit the road, working the comedy club and one-nighter circuits, while continuing to freelance for Hallmark and other gift industry companies.
She lived in Denver, Colorado, for 20 years and now makes her home in Virginia with her husband Gary (the actor and Shakespeare savant) and her son Andrew (who loves kayaking, fencing, and playing his guitar). Their pets are Jerry the serene Beta, Scotty the goofy dog, and Mojito the cool chameleon.
